A due notification is not a promise that a plant needs water. Plantine’s water check asks you to look at the soil, and a notification can be marked Done or Snoozed for tomorrow from the notification itself.
Schedules can learn from damp-soil checks
With Pro smart scheduling, repeated “soil still damp” observations can gently extend a daily watering rhythm. The adjustment is visible as an adaptive schedule that you can still change.
Free and Pro boundaries are visible in the app
Free includes up to three plants and water routines, plus a one-plant fertilizer preview. Pro unlocks the remaining reminder types, smart scheduling, Rain Assist, insights, and longer history. Are Plantine reminders local notifications?
Yes. Care reminders are scheduled on the device with Apple’s local notification system. You can allow or disable them in your iPhone notification settings.
Can I snooze a plant care reminder?
Yes. Plantine’s routine notification actions include Mark Done and Snooze; Snooze moves the prompt to tomorrow.
Does Plantine automatically water a plant?
No. Plantine records care actions and prompts you to decide. Rain Assist also asks for confirmation before it logs eligible watering from recent rain.
